Firestone TransForce AT tires - Firestone Trans Force AT tires

I own a 99 Ford F-350 diesel truck. I went to firestone to get one of my tires patched and was talked into buying " up " to " better " tires. I was sold the Firestone Trans Force AT 10 ply tires. They were installed at Firestone in downtown Kansas City. Flash forward one week.

I'm driving home from my lake house when I began to hear a noise from the front drivers wheel that sounded like a rock in the tire. No biggie right? WRONG. It got louder and louder so I pulled over to find my wheel falling OFF! The lugs on the wheel were hand tight and never finished with an impact and torque wrench. It took me 2 hours to get the wheel tight enough with the pliars I had in my truck to safely drive 2 miles to a shop to tighten down lug nuts.

They come in and informed me ALL 4 WHEELS were hand tight and that I'm lucky I'm not dead.

As if thats not bad enough... I left the shop for a 2 hour drive home. 4 miles from home the rear driver tire had a Blowout! I was on a corner and my truck slid into the mediun, I over corrected and slid across the highway BARELY missing a guy on a motorcycle and sliding INCHES from a gaurdrail into a ditch at 70 MPH.

Can it get worse? Firestone will not return my phone calls! Thanks firestone.

Totals from firestone.

4 tires. $800
Shop to fix loose nuts $20
Blow out $200 for new tire to complete set
Replaced all 4 tires for my safety $730
Front allignment $100
New strut $135
Tow bill $71.04
MY LIFE. PRICELESS

Firestone sucks avoid at all costs! Your family should live in safety with someone else!!
