We had our rugs cleaned in 2010 by Master PerformanceCleaning Service. Since then they have made several calls using a privatenumber trying to make another appt, even though they were told to stop callingfor a least 6 months. Three months after their previous call, I got a call andset up an appt. Due to their inability to respect my request to stop calling, Iwas reluctant to use them again, but my rugs looked so bad that I went ahead andhad them come out on 2/1. I called Chuck the day of the service and told him to comeafter 1:30. He came at 12. My husband took care of getting them set up andleft. While I was lying in bed sick, his helper helped himself tomy potato chips. When caught by my mother, who they didn't know lived in anin-law suite on the side of the house, he sheepishly apologized and latercame back in the kitchen to apologize again. She told him it was verydisconcerting to have him going through our food, and he left the kitchenwithout saying another word. Feeling pretty violated, my husband and I took the issue upwith Tony, the owner. Tony insisted that the asst thought that when my husbandgave them 2 cups and said to "help yourself to water, he really meanteverything on the counter, including food. I asked Tony why the asst was soapologetic if he didn't think he was doing anything wrong. Tony still insistedit was a misunderstanding that my husband helped create by offering cups forwater. So unless you want a company who has no respect for FTCrules, your schedule or personal property, do not use these guys. The companyis shady, and there are plenty of other reputable carpet cleaners in the TampaBay area.
