G.E. Money Bank for Lowe's Project Card
Operation Division 713-300-2869 TSC Collection agency. Promised to set me up on their credit counseling program when I was laid off, only to be kicked out of the program less than a month later and never told about it while I continued to pay regular mont

I applied for a Lowe's project card account when I was working full time and my children's father was working full time. I was making regular payments and doing well at paying down the two projects that I was able to finance through G.E. Money bank.

In June I and my children's father both were layed off and I tried to work with all my creditors but wasn't able to make any payments for 3 months due to un-employment being back up that long. I received a retroactive payment in late August of but it was substancially less than what my paychecks were per month. I called consumer credit counseling services and asked to be put on their program where they work with creditors at reducing my monthly payment amount, lowering interest rates, and stopping late fees. This is not a debt settlement company. G.E. Money bank allowed both of my accounts to be put on the progam and I made regular payments to CCCS who in turn paid all my creditors including G.E. Money bank. 2 Months into the program I started receiving phone calls from G.E. Money bank stating that I was delinquent on my Lowe's card. I explained the situation and they said it would be okay, that they must not have received a copy of the contract yet and they thanked me for my time. Another month passed and I receive the same phone call only this time I was told by G.E. Money that they did not agree to a contract with CCCS and that they would not allow my Lowes account to be put on a credit plan unless I do it directly through them. I agreed and was set up on their program on October. I received the paperwork showing the agreement and continued to make regular monthly payments of the reduced amount of $90.00. Apparently in December they decided to drop me from their program with no notice and in March I started receiving harrassing phone calls from a collection agency TSC who represents G.E. Money bank. Lowes. I was totally blind sided and tried to work the the representative on the phone in regards to my account. She concerred with me that it shows my regular payments and she was confused why I was sent to collections other than that the company is charging me late fees and imposing delinquent reports on my account. I am still on limited income and can't negotiate any other payment plan. This company is absurd. I didn't plan for financial hardship, it just happened and I am trying hard to work with this company to pay what I owe them and they are in short stealing from me now and taking advantage of my hardship so they can make more money. This is not my opinion it is a fact based on the extra fees they impose on this account each month... It will make it to where I NEVER pay this account off. The phone calls never stop. Just today I received 4 calls all in a row. 2:20 P.M., 2:35P.M., 2:44P.M. 3:05P.M... If this isn't harrassment then I want to know what is. I am planning on pressing charges and all calls have been recorded on my end so I have proof. Please... If you are planning a home improvement project and don't have the money put aside to do it, do not open a lowe's project card account. Go to your local bank or credit union and see what terms they have available or just go to home depot as long as they don't use G.E. Money Bank.
