First National Bank Of Marin
Ripoff the business that doesnt give a dam outlandish ripoff late fees Las Vegas NV

I have had trouble since day one with Fist National Bank of Marin. My good standing credit card was transfered from another bank.
And it was not a secured card.

I was contacted for several months in a row by their collections department for $1 late payment. No one there could explain to me why if I make the same payment every month and the same amount was due how I could owe $1.

I agree with several of the consumer complaints about the misc. Charges to the account, where do they come up with these?

I work for the 5th largest Private Label Credit Card issuer and I am well aware of the fee's that can be charged to accounts and we charge them and they are legit.

I had never had a late payment on my account with the previous lender for more than 24 months or for the first 12 months on this account and I fell into some financial trouble and contacted a Consumer Credit Counciling service to get out of debt.

I had 8 other credit card accounts and they were the only company to refuse to work with the payment schedule. My orginal payment was $60, cccs submitted payments for $50 since it didn't cover the full balance late fees, over the limit charges, and I also closed the account and they charge a fee until the account is pd in full.

So basically the monthly fees were about $85 including interest so over about a 6 month period they charged me over $450 and so all the payments I made didn't even cover all the fees. Now 10 months later they charged off my account reporting it 150 days past due. Ruining the good credit I had previously. I had a excellent credit score and now it is very low. All of my other creditors with cccs have never reported late and are all in great standing with the balancing going down.

Beware if you are unable to pay the full amount on the credit card even as little as $10 less a month. My account has also now been forwarded to a collection agency they also seems to be up to no good in there promisses. I made arrangement to continue to pay the $50 a month is what First National Bank of Marin didn't want to agree to and they have debited my checking account for more that the payment I agreed to and also is charging me additional interest charges that I was told would stop.

I will never ever do business with an unknown credit card company again and also will not allow my credit card to be transfer to another lender unless it is my choice or will close the account permanently.
