On 3/26/03 I prepaid $315 for a picnic table including delivery. Delivery was originally promised within 4 weeks. On 5/28/03 (9 weeks), Roadway attempted to deliver a thoroughly destroyed picnic table. The delivery attempt was refused and documented.
I spoke with Eric Smith of Moose Country Wood Products and he agreed to refund the $315 since he would recover the money from Roadway via a freight claim. Since then I have contacted Eric numerous times but my calls are not returned and no check was ever sent. I have all documentation (check and refused delivery receipt) to support my claim. Eric will be unable to document delivery of the table or refund of the pre payment.
