Well, this is what I get for being an honest and good renter. Been at this house for about 3 years. Since I was so good, they raised the monthly price on my third year while everyone else is offering incentives. Then a few months ago, the owner wanted to move back in, so we had to move out. I looked over the lease, and fixed what I can, steamed cleaned the carpet for two whole days, and cleaned the whole damn house. I over looked in small print that I had to sbumit an invoice for carpet cleaning or else they bring in their people, which was $500.
So I called in 4 times, and left messages for about a month to go over the items deducted from my security deposit. No one ever called me back. I finally got through to some idiot of a manager. He then goes to explain the lease to me. How things goes sour and how fast PMP turns on you when they aren't receiving money from you any more. No end of lease or move out help, just a letter and a date to move out. I was left on my own, and did the best I could with no guidence. It would been nice to receive a check list of things to do when you leave. Didn't even get that, I had to read throught the long lease, which is a rip-off in itself. Because it is geared torwards screwing the renter.
So, I said ok, my bad, the carpet is on me, I missed it. Then we looked at the HOA charges that were 2 to 3 year old. I asked how come I never received an invoice or bill for this. The idiot manager said he sent me a letter. Well the letter states that if I didn't hide my trash bin they charge me, but if I fix the issue there would be no charges, giving me 3 days to comply. I told the manager this and he says they charged me, but I never received any bill, he said he called and left me messages. Now that was soooo bogus. It would have been recorded. He couldn't even prove he billed us, never the less prove he called me. At this point since I'm not one of their clients anymore, I guess he figured he can just throw out proffesionalism. He then proccedes to argue with me like a little child.
We then proceded to argue over all the items, as I had a question about a broken door frame. It could have been broken before I moved in and because I did not notice it, they are now charging me. The idiot manager even stated it was my fault.
At the end nothing was resolved, this company could have avoided an angry ex-client if they had learned what customer service is all about. All I was seeking was an explaination to all the deductions from my security deposit. This will be the last I deal with them. Fair warning to anyone who lives in the Longmont Co, or surrounding area. Do not do business with this unproffesional company. It has changed since the original owners have sold it off. They are an unclassy bunch, ignorant of proffessionalism and customer service.
