Mr. Vaughn gave me a binder of his work, I showed him what I wanted, also gave him an address to look at stamped concrete. He came back said it would be no problem, he could do the job. We agreed on a cash price. Due to a family emergency, I was out of state when the work was done. When I called to say my patio did not look like the "tile" picture we had agreed on, he sent a man over with a saw to cut my patio in large rectangles. I called Mr. Vaughn very politely, I have witnessess, he told me to "GET OFF MY PHONE AND DON't EVER CALL BACK. That summer he lost roughly $277,000.00 because of word of mouth and people looking at my patio. Anytime someone talks to me about concrete work, I ask them to take a look at my patio and the picture of what I was promised. When they see the quality, or lack of quality, they back away. The plants that were in the way were removed as promised but left out in the sun to die not replanted nor put in water as promised. Where the plants were, I have a trough in my patio that holds water. Overall bad, bad work, not even comes close to what we had agreed on. Will eventually tile the area but I shouldn't have to.
