I took my car in for an oil change at Firestone today because they were running a deal. I called to see if they could fit me in and the guy on the phone told me he had people coming in and I could just bring it in and he'd see if he had time. So a little irritated already, I brought my car in and dropped it off. When I returned to pick it up, I saw it parked on the street with the driver's door unlocked. This particular location is in a crappy part of downtown Milwaukee where bums populate the streets and cars are stolen all the time. AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY'VE DONE THIS! When I told the clerk, he said, "yeah well we do that cuz we can see them." and so I asked him if he agreed he'd be liable if my car was stolen because they so stupidly forgot to lock the door and all he had to say was, "uhhh... I dunno." What a crock of shit. So if you're okay with your car sitting unlocked for who knows how long (they left my car unlocked overnight once) then firestone is the place for you.
