I live in Athens, Alabama. About a month ago there were 2 women that came to my door at 5:30 pm selling Advanage Wonder Cleaner. One girl that did all the talking showed me how the clear cleaner would get rid of the mold outside my doorstep beside my house. She also showed me how it would get out a permanent sharpie marker on a washcloth with just a little scrubbing. I noticed it didn't come out that well which should have been a red flag to me right there.
She was so sweet, complimenting my kids and my 'southern accent'. She said that a few of my neighbors had just bought some of the cleaner from her and she needed to sell just 2 more bottles before she could go home for the night.
She asked what kind of work my husband did and I told her he was a welder. She said the green cleaner would be perfect to get all his dirty clothes clean again and could also be used on anything else in the house. I asked her how much to which she said $39.95. I bought the green apple cleaner with cash. I was going to pay with check but my husband didn't want them having our account information (thank God I listened to him).
This cleaner doesn't clean ANYTHING at all! My son just recently bought some red goo in a barrel from a little toy store. His little sister spilled it all on the floor. We thought since we had that new cleaner we could use it and get it up. Nope! At first as your scrubbing you think it's all coming up! Wow! What a fantastic product. BUT, as it dries you see that it has just spread it around and made an even bigger spot. We now have a huge pink stain on my son's beige carpet.
I emailed the company from the website that was on the brochure and haven't gotten a response.
