Ipurchased an iron filter from www.affordablewater.Us and it arrived at my houseas specified. The filter looked good and came complete with instructions.installation was straightforward, basically assemble the parts, put in thestone and greensand in the filter, fill with water, drop in the Perm generate solution, let sit for 12 hours, backwash and power on the unit.
Afterits first complete cycle, the water valve was leaking into the backwash drain. Iinformed them and they sent me a replacement assembly. They also noted thatthis failure was common and they are now providing different instruction on newunits.
Allis fine, I Receive the new assembly, install it, and 3 days later, once again, the same problem occurs. They send meonce again another assembly, and this time I inspected all the parts inside theassembly and notice that another part was broken likely the cause of all thefailures. I sent a picture to www.affordablewater. Usand they claimed that they would no longer honor the warranty or send any morereplacement parts, claiming that I was the one breaking them.
Theunit never worked from day 1, and now I want either resolution, or my moneyback.
Www.affordablewater.Us have told methat they would not be responding to my inquiries anymore.
Ihave all the e-mails to prove everything.
