To potential renters everywhere. Please avoid Ridgegate apartments. Their management staff is rude and their upkeep of the complex is lousy.
When I first moved into this complex we had a great management staff. The place was clean and the apartments were brand new. Since that management staff left. It's become hell.
The first problem I had was with a leak in my bathroom sink. It took them five times to fix it each time making it worse until I told them they fix it or I use the rent money to hire a plumber. After that they finally used better equipment to fix the leak permanently. During the 2nd leak the management had changed hands and a less than fantastic crew came into managing the complex.
The second management staff were nice but they did not keep up on the regular maintenance with the apartment. My roommate had found a problem with her bathroom cabinet needing to be replaced and the office staff gave her nothing but grief for it. When she requested to get the corporate offices phone number they told her she would need to write in and only gave her the address. While this was going on the complex was slowly becoming delapedated. I have heard from several other renters that the buildings were settling and creating cracks and leaks.
Now that management crew has been terminated and the new office staff is abomidable. The assistant manager is rude, shows little regard for customer service and is very threatening. She brings her son to work with her when it is clearly stated that children should not be brought in during work hours.
Today was the last straw. When I asked for a package and the address for the corporate office she asked me what it was for and I declined to answer that. She became rude and began to close the door stating that she had an apartment to show. She then changed her answer and said a child was being very difficult and needed to go for a walk. Ok now she is a liar on top of a bad assistant. She also refused to provide me with the information that I asked for and said she would call the police if I did not remove my foot. I informed her again that I was her customer and she needed to remember that. She became compative and refused to provide me with both my package or the corporate information.
On top of this. The grounds are looking shotty with leaks in the drip system, burnt out lights not being replaced, Cigarette butts littering the complex as well as animal droppings and finally an office staff that is completely rude to its tenants.
We have given out 30 days and other tenants need to consider the worth of staying in this place too if they wish to have good customer service and attentive management.
