We moved into the apartments and had many leaks, with mold and mushrooms growing out of the kitchen cabinets.
The management paid to have us moved to another unit after living with the problem for three months. However, we have had two Grand Voyager vans stolen from the complex, neither vehicle has been recovered.
The Phoenix Police told me that 3 - 5 vehicles are stolen from here a day! 1 - 2 vehicles are recovered here from other parts of the valley. One of our vehicles had been found destroyed in North Carolina.
There are many suspicious people in and around the complex in the evening hours.
The unit we are in now has just been repaired for the same problems and leaks the first apartment had. We had no telephone service for months due to water saturating the wall where the main phone jack is located. We have spoke with many other people living here and have discovered that our situation is not unique; everyone has experienced a problem either worse or close to what we have encountered.
The office staff have been very frustrated, they cannot seem to take care of all the problems this complex has, and the maintenance staff are very inexperienced and do not seem to know how to repair the problems that arise.
The complex has many dogs and cats, the tenants are to clean-up after their animals. Most do not; therefore you cannot even imagine the stench walking through the complex.
The pools and spas are very seldom blue they are cloudy and greenish yellow water, and the tenants are swimming in them! Very disgusting!
The AC units in these apartments drain into the tub of the bathroom, so if you have a one bath, you could not use your tub or shower from the rust and gunk that drains off from a tube out of the ceiling. If you have a two bath apartment you can use one tub and shower, but not the other one. It is really a health hazard!
We have had many strange people living here and visiting apartments with weapons and looking as if they are ready for a war! The lights have been off at night in several buildings including the parking areas, which makes it even scarier at night if you need to be out.
