The lynd company parc royale lynd co - theives, liars, cheats - double billing no refunds no records keep your reciepts on everything!

Do not move in!!! I cant be more clear. I have never complained in an online forum before about anything but I feel compelled to now. I have lived many places before both apartments and homes and have never had problems like this.

When i moved in I paid a $250 deposit and was told my credit wasnt very good and they would need another $500 deposit - both of which would be refundable. I paid both.

About three months later i got a dog and was told that was going to be two more additional deposits of $200 each, one of which was refundable and one of which was not.

Another three months later the people that had been managing the property began to leave and thats when the problems started. First off, the 24 hour concierge was gone. Then my water and waste bill doubled. Then I was told i never paid any deposit for my dog and if i didnt do so i would be reported to the credit bureau even though my rent was ALWAYS paid a week early.

I was told it was up to me to provide proof that i had done so. When i showed them a reciept for the one deposit, they said, "oh yeah, we found that one but there wasnt another one. But dont worry we'll keep that one as the non refundable and wont make you pay another one" So basically the decided to keep my entire $400 deposit.

Two months later I got a letter saying my rent was short $10 and i had been reported to the credit beureau. Again my rent was paid a week early and the notice did not come until ten days after the rent was due. After raising hell, I was told not to worry about it.

Then, a month after i moved out i called to see what the deal was with my deposit and was told no charges were assessed, but that i had only given them one $200 deposit.By this time the property director was the fourth one since i had moved in and was not there at all while i lived there.

She told me the original director had more than likely stolen my money as that is why she was let go. She told me they had no record of my deposits and i could see my records if i wanted to. If I could provide proof of the payments, they would work it out.

The next day i went down there with the proof she talked about and asked to see my records. She then refused to show me anything or accept anything from me (the proof of payment) and told me if i didnt leave she was going to call the police. She would not give me the number to corporate nor her supervisor's name.

When i did get the number to corporate (from the internet) I left messages for the Regional Vice President as well as the Regional Director but was never given a call back. They are completely dodging me.

Right now i am in the process of filing a civil suit against them to get my money back, but i could not be more clear: DO NOT MOVE IN THERE. This has been a complete hassle the whole time and every payment i made if i could not prove i made later they claimed i didnt make and would threaten me.

This is easily the worst place i have ever lived even though it looked nice. Water pipes broke in the garage and were never fixed. The security gates to the breezeways broke and were never fixed. Many of the amenities that were there when i moved in were quickly taken away and never replaced. Any complaint or service request took weeks to get responses to.

They do not care about you once you move in and they treat you like crap. You have to assume they are criminal the whole time and protect yourself otherwise you will get charged out the ass and never get your money back. Dont make the same mistake i did. You would be better off moving into a place that was not as nice - i would have been anyway. Besides, there are several other nice places to live around there that are run properly.

Save yourself the agony and move on.
