We hired Brian McFate of Rocky Mountain Custom Decks and I/E Services to replace our roof after it was damaged by a hail storm. He told us he needed a check for $15,000 to purchase supplies because they were on sale. We wrote the check June 4. After he had removed the shake shingles and shoddily put down felt, he disappeared and would not answer phone calls, emails or text messages. He has compulsively and brilliantly lied to us about almost everything. His addresses are bogus. Another roofer is here right now trying to protect our roof from a coming storm. He said Brian used the wrong nails on the underlayment, so even that will have to be redone. We have no products and will wind up paying more than $35,000 for a roof that should have cost $20,000.
