Said help was for non current people, when i got behind, misrepresented my info. Miscommunicated and carelessly ran time til defaulted

Ocwen send a letter stating morgage increase from 2995.00 to 3800.00 in 6 mo. From date of letter. We asked for modification, 3 weeks later no response!
WE contact ocwen, agent said we need more inf., that we would hear from him after received. Approx. 2 weeks.info. Was sent next day of contacting agent.
Month later no agent!

We contact Ocwen, (different agent) This agent said help was for those behind on payments, we were current! We got behind 2 months payment (not by choice) called Ocwen, This agent said modification was for those not behind, however she would see what can be done all was needed was more info. And a 250.00 processing fee. That info was sent and the fee was to be paid when modification was approved.

One month passed and we contact Ocwen agent. (different agent)

Based on info provided, we didn't qualify for modification. The info. Sent was not correctly presented by "Ocwen" Employee. After reviewing info Ocwen provided to modification dept. With what we send., This agent noticed the error on there behalf they submitted my income incorrectly.

We had to Resend info. And send via fax (as done so before) the previous sent info. The fax has confirmation received # on documents sent.

Ocwen played me back and forth until my new 3800.00 payment was now due! That's when we stop paying and became 2 mo. Behind, then default.

We asked for help since the the day of letter, now my home is going to auction. We contacted Ocwen and asked why we could int get there help?

Answer: because we were in default. We had no problem paying 2995.00 a month but that increase to 3800.00 was impossible we said to the agent.

The agent said: what 3800.00? You're payments are only 2995.00.

This agent said there was never a increase in our payments.

Ocwen not only sent us a pay this amount: 3800.00 for this month letter, they cost us our home! Because we had no problem paying 2995.00 they failed to let us know either by letter or phone that there was never an increase. The only thing that made us fall behind on payments was that 3800.00 increase letter. For 2 years we were current! And would have still been if not for that letter! We explained and pleaded for help, letting them know we couldn't afford 3800.00 and they never, not one time! Mentioned the increase never happened. Ocwen literally caused me to lose oure home!!
