Accepted order, charged credit card, then failed to provide shipping information, refused all contact, and have not refunded

I initially investigated this site with several services and found no major complaints, so it seemed safe enough. I placed my order, a fairly substantial one, and received a confirmation email; everything looked fine.

After not receiving my order or any information on shipping after a couple of weeks, I investigated my order status on their site. The status appeared deceptive; it claimed the order had been shipped, but no reference number or shipping company was apparent, and there was no other information available.

I attempted multiple times to contact this vendor, by email, phone, and using their online form. I received no response. The message on their voicemail system indicated they were closed "for inventory." It has not changed in the month since.

I have contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge, since I have not received my merchandise.in my opinion this company is engaged in fraudulent activity. I do not recommend attempting to do business with them.
