I purchased a Rubbermaid 60in wardrobe closet and when I bgan to assemble the product two of the pieces broke without any effort at all. The plastic being used in the manufacturing is obviously inferior. When I called the number listed on a piece of paper the lady that answered the phone said they would send replacement parts but I wanted to let them know that their product was not manufactured well. She told me they only handle replacement parts.
I called Rubbermaid and was told that they do not "manufacture" the product and that a company named "Moran" sells it under the Rubbermaid license. Moran also does not make the product, they import it from China. I was told they have nothing to do with it at all. Basically the customer service person was completely unconcerned about the poor quality of the product and the fact that it was being produced under the Rubbermaid name.
If it were my company I would be a bit upset that someone was making inferior products with my label on it.
