I am experiencing the same "cornrowing" problem with my Mohawk carpet. If it is NOT a manufacturing defect, and Stainmaster won't cover it, WHO WILL?
When I talk to the salesman at Robert's all I get is another number to call and another person comes out and files yet ANOTHER REPORT! Kinda like letting the Rooster guard the Henhouse!
I paid for a warranty and of course it covers NOTHING that any of them will claim as their responsibility.
Cornrowing IS a known condition and has been a known condition for a long time, yet, it was NEVER mentioned as a possibility when I chose this carpet. Perhaps the UNKNOWN is what's keeping sales going?
I previously worked for a new home builder and was key in the development of their Design Center - Too bad I didn't use the "cheap builder grade carpet" that most builder's use as a standard... Then when I have to replace the upgraded "crap" that I bought for my own home, well before anticipated, I wouldn't I feel so STUPID for paying extra money for inferior product!
