Well that was the phone calls and letters still haven't stopped. A letter said they spent almost $15,000 in repairs to the home and sold it for $24,000, leaving a balance owed of around $25,000 to settle the lien they have imposed on her land. The day after x-mas she gets a call telling her that her property taxes are behind over $4000 and they were going to take the land along with everything on it including the 30 yr old dbl wide we've bought since which was in 100 times better condition than what she was delivered as a NEW home. She went today because YES we are behind on our property taxes, $61 to be exact, but the onslaught will continue because we have NO recourse of action, all we can do is live in FEAR, and hope that one day the anxiety attacks disipate some everytime the phone rings.
There is nothing we can do, Warren Buffet is what like the 2nd RICHEST man in the WORLD and he can do pretty much what he wants. I'm surprised that they haven't driven people to suicide or worse if they haven't already. But who can fight it, even our jugde sold out, hate to say it... You should see the looks on peoples faces when you mention Vanderbilt. I wonder if Obama would stand up to them??? Lets all get together and start a letter writting campaign we've GOT to do SOMETHING, be we need to band together if we ever hope to tame the beast... Thanks for listening, good luck and GOD BLESS...
