On July 23 I purchased a lamp and my credit card was charged $178.in September, when I did not receive the lamp, I emailed the company and received the following:
"I truly apologize for the delay. It looks like the item went into production with the manufacturer right around the time that you placed your order due to the high amount of sales for this particular product. However, more stock is arriving at the manufacturer's warehouse by the middle of September and your order will ship to you directly. Also, I will gladly mark your order priority' free of charge in order to make up for the delay and expedite the order as much as possible. Thank you,
Jennifer Thomson; Sales Dept."
On Sept 27th, when I still had not received my order, I sent another email asking for immediate shipment or refund. 10/11/08 I received this message from Jennifer:
"I cannot apologize enough for the delay. I will contact the manufacturer and find out exactly what is causing the delay is and when you can expect it to receive your product. I will advice.".
The website is now down and the phone is disconnected. Hopefully, this will not happen to others.
