My husband and I purchased a time share through Spinnaker Resorts, French Quarters in Branson in the year 2002. We were told that our unit would not be available until the year 2005 and that in the mean time we would be able to get two free developer weeks to use in Branson for the next two years. We too enjoy going to Branson. Here is the deal we have called numerous time to our dismay no phone call has ever been returned approximately five phone calls to be exact.
Every time we call you get the operator then put to someone's voice mail. Then when you ask the operator to talk to a real person she will put you on continous hold then put you to a voice mail.
To the woman who was complaining about time share holders buying this blindly. We went to this thinking of purchasing the program but found out it was too high a price well of course they sent the big salesman over to wheel and deal with us and we thought it would be great to share family vacations.
The deal is if you can't get ahold of the people then how are you to enjoy a vacation with your family. You know that these salesmen have no problem taking money away from a family and they know what this company is like no remorse, no consciense, nothing. Of course, that is the american way how fast can you scam your neighbor or stranger to get ahead.
The lady that sold us our timeshare said she used to be a nurse. Well as a nurse you are supposed to be empathtic, I do not believe she was anywhere close to being empathtic and will lie as much as they can to get ahead. So tell me how I am suppose to contact the company if I cannot get ahold of them.
I bet they do not have any sleepless nights knowing they scammed a couple today for a good chunk of money that the coupled believed they were doing a good thing for the family. I hate to think what these people would to their relatives in this case would they have them buy it.
None the less when we tried to cancel at the beginning because I did not trust this thinking we had been screwed, we did not have an easy time getting the money back and to our luck we still own the no good for nothing time share and that is exactly what it is. A waste of time and money. The company also states on the voicemail they are opened monday-saturday 9-5 and will call you back promptly.
What is promptly were I live it is within a day or two. Promptly to them is probably 6 months or more and they are not open on saturday there is NOBODY THERE, imagine that. So we actually own a timeshare unit but not until 2005 and will probably never be able to use the two free weeks.
I would even be happy to use those weeks with RCI but if you cannot get ahold of anyone that will make it impossible to do. Answer a simple question that is all nothing that is going to take much effort on their part. All I am asking is 5-10 minutes of their time I think that is very little to ask when you consider how much money was given to them.
Maybe they should try to explain to a five year old and a three year old who LOVE going to Missouri that they can't because that is what I have had to do.
Why should i pay another hotel when i spent that money on this! You explain that to me.
