I am a victim of a Realty Trac rip-off. Today they debited my account twice for $5.00 and $39.95 I called and JP said that I had subscribed to a magazine, from realestatepromoter.com and they were the people who were debiting my account. I explained I had canceled my account on October 9th, provided my cancellation number. He kept insisting I had clicked something on the 3rd or 4th page of the Realty Trac website and I had authorized realestatepromoter.com to debit my account.
I tried to speak with someone else and JP refused to transfer me insisting I call Realestatepromoter.com He gave me the number.
When I called Realestatepromoter.com, I was connected to a voice mail that required me to leave a message. I thought that would lead nowhere, so I started to look up frauds by both Realty Trac and Realestatepromoter.com. I was hooked up with consumer complaints and here I am.
I have gone to my bank cancelled my card, signed an affidavit swearing these people have ripped me off. I also have to file a police report. I do not have time today, but these people are going to hear from me. I am calling the local TV stations to see if their consumer reporters will do a story on them.
