I contacted Simplicity for Children after I realized my sons Rainforest Play Yard colapsed when he started to stand up in it. When I called the company I had to close it and put it back together to see where the problem was, this was not a big deal, it was when she started to tell me she was going to send me a new play yard when that was not what I wanted, we had already purchased something else and just wanted to get out money back.
I found out from puting the play yard together with the women on the phone it was not locking in place, it freaked me out cause it could be used as a bassinet too, my baby could've been really hurt. She seemed to have no sense of what this means to a mom because she gave me a really hard time about getting my money back.
Eventually she told me to cut the lining off the play yard and send it to them so they could send me a check. Again not a big deal... It is the fact that I still have not received a check and when I tried to contact them the recording says they are no longer in business. If anyone knows anything about this I would really appreciate some information... I could really use that money since we invested it in a new play yard.
