Case Description... We had alki custom cabinets install cabinets and a granite countertops. The day after they installed the countertops, the seam lifted, there were chips in the edges of the granite, and the seams did not match. Upon asking them to return and fix the problem they were very good about coming out and trying to fix the counter. They told me the granite wasnt cut right and that they would have to replace a section of it. So they returned to replace part of it and the piece they used did not match the rest of the counter top. Now they are telling us that its how the light hits the granite that makes it look different. We disagree. So far they have been to our house 5 times to try and fix this problem and it is still wrong. They have said they would contact us again, but we are not sure how to proceed with this issue. We feel that their work is very substandard. This project was started on the 6th of december and is still not done right.
