Still waiting for my stuff

Like Katie from a prior post, I am still waiting on my stuff picked up on June 24th, it is now July 11. See letter I wrote to this comapny below. Do not use them. All my friends who used other companies had their stuff within a week and are satisfied.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to lodge a formal complaint against the handling of my move by your company. I contacted your company on June 17 after a search for a mover. I spoke to a sales person who handled the initial call. I explained to him that I was looking for a pick up on June 23rd or 24th and a delivery by June 30th if possible. He initially said that my delivery could be as far as July 9th. I told him that this would not work for me. At this point, he told me that the delivery date of July 9th was for unusual circumstances. Based on this information, I went ahead and proceeded with retaining the services of your company. From then on, I have been extremely dissatisfied with the service rendered so far. My concerns are outlined as below:

A) The salesperson discussed my move in pounds although I was charged on the basis of cubic feet.
B) My mover arrived at my house at 6:30pm after calling earlier in the day and telling me he would be there by 3pm. He explained that he got lost and did apologize, however this did not help the fact that my move commenced late disrupting the remainder of the day. He did not leave until 10:30pm at night.

C) When I called and spoke to a male dispatcher the next day about my concerns, I was told that there was nothing he could do. At that point, I was told to read my contract which states that my move can take up to 21 days.

D) I was informed on Sunday, June 30th that the truck carrying my furniture was in New Jersey and awaiting a driver for a delivery the following week, then was told on July 7th that the truck was in North Carolina with possible delivery on Wednesday, July 9th. So far, I have not seen anything.

E) No approximate delivery date was written on my bill of lading, leaving me open to the current situation.

I understand that contracts are written but there must be a better way to do business. I know that this is a very busy time of year for movers. However, I feel that you should have been honest with me from the beginning so I could go ahead and retain someone else's services. I am letting you know this because I hope that this will not happen to other customers. I am furious about the fact that I have minimal clothes to wear to work and no furniture in the face of a new job and new living quarters. I ask for better transparency in your future dealings with customers. I also ask for a true account of exactly where my shipment is and when to expect it here in New Jersey. I understand I have 21 business days before I seek further recourse. Thank you for your time.
