Unbelievable! How can this company keep doing the same thing over and over for such a long time to so many people&and they are still in business! I, like so many others, was asked to send a check because "the credit card machine was down." I was offered free shipping. (That's funny, if you think about it!) Stupidly, I did send a check, which was cashed on February 1.
Of course, no cushions, no phone calls, no explanation, no way to contact the company other than leave many messages on their machine. What blows my mind is that they are STILL taking orders as of last week (May 1). I have contacted the Virginia Department of Consumer Affairs and have the paperwork to file a complaint with them. Because the company scammed me to send a check, I know there was clearly intent to commit theft. I'd like to file criminal charges but don't know where to start.
I'll join any class action or group effort to help put these people UNDER the jail. Lesson learned... Check with complaint from now on before doing business with any company.
