The repair man fixed the fence. I paid for the cost. I asked him, if the same part of fence broke down, can he fix it without a cost. He said he will fix it without a cost.
Later on, the tenant moved in. The tenant emailed the rental agent and he forward the email to me. The tenant said after one night storm the fence was on the verge of falling into the neighbors yard. It is the same part of the fence that was "fixed". I asked the repair man to come to fixed it. I also emailed him the email that that I received. The repair man fixed the fence. However, he wanted me to pay after the fix it. He said he will lean on the property if I don't pay.
I just received another email forwarded from the rental agent: The tenant said:
The fence on the north side of the house, where the gate is, blew down the other day. I've got it propped up at the moment but the post snapped so it will need to be repaired.
This house is only 5 years old. The fence was brand new.
