I ordered over $800 worth of cushion covers and were told to expect delivery in 6 to 8 weeks. When the covers did not arrive within that time frame I did an Internet search and came up with this website where there were complaints lodged by other people regarding this same problem with non-delivery of goods that were already paid for. Of course I had a sick feeling that I had been ripped off.
I contacted my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau as well as attempting to contact Crate Furniture. I felt even worse when my calls to the company only went through to an answering machine.
Within 4 to 5 days I had an automated message left on my answering machine from the company. They were responding to my request through the Better Business Bureau for a refund to my credit card. This automated message stated that my refund was being processed. Within 32 days of my original request for a refund I received my credit card statement with a reversal of charges for the full amount, just as I had requested.
