My fuse box did not get wet, I live near long beach. After 8 days without power, information is finally given saying that I need to have an electrician inspect my house for a certificate, after being on hold with lipa for a and hour and a half, I was told I have to hire my own electrician to do said inspection, when I asked if LIPA could send over an inspector, the operator hung up on me. Had a licensed electrician Inspect my house this morning only to be told he doesn't know how long it is going to take to get said certificate. Could be a few more days. This is ridiculous.
