We bought a "New in the box" (not scratch & dent) washer from Appliance Direct and had it delivered.
It did not work - we called for service-scheduled for 1 week later-called back for immediate service, They could not help, but Whirlpool customer service did send repairman immediately.
Repairman asked who worked on it last. "No one, it's brand new" He showed us where someone had removed the control panel and he found it had a bad motor & starter.
Appliance Direct would exchange it but would not refund it. Corporate had to get involed and only after I faxed the report from the repairman did they agree to refund entire amount.
We will never use this company again and neither should you!!!
