Yesterday my wife went to sears to purchare a trim saw (00911578000) for Fathers Day. We had seen it online on special for $49.99. At the store they didn't have it in stock and told her to order it online. She ordered it online, and it arrived for pick-up at the Haywood road store.
I went and picked it up today on my way out of town on business. When I recieved it, I noticed that it had printed on it " battery and charger NOT included.in the online ad it says nothing about this. If one digs into the Specifications, it does say that the battery isn't included. I feel that this is deceptive and is a bait and switch deal. I plan to return it as soon as I return to town tomorrow. If Sears is going to do business this way, then I'll take my business elsewhere. I hate to be tricked. Would you like it if you bought a car and after completeing the sale you found out that it didn't come with an engine? Do you sell lawnmowers without wheels? After trading with Sears for 35 years, I didn't think you'd resort to such tactics to make a dollar. You'll never get another of mine!
