Owner Dennis Give estimate, take cash only, return with new higher estimate, you lose $ ripoff

Cash only? That should have sent red flags but since I did dealt w / them before I let it go.

I have a small 12 rd. Pool 4ft deep, needed a wall and liner change. I have both. Ed the inspector comes out looks at my existing pool. Asks what I want done. I reply as above. Need to change the wall and liner. O.K. He says I'll talk to the boss. Call the office and they'll give you a price.

Now on the price list from them it states $240.00. Minus the $50=190.00. Call the office I'm told final balance is $190.00. This is verified several times by three secretaries.

Appointment is made to do the job. Ed returns and now the price has doubled. After several calls back and forth. Most of them on my part. They tell me I'll never get the $ back. I also complained to the company who sold me the wall and liner they agreed it is a problem. Anyone living on Long Island and uses Island Recreational for their pools and accessories. Please beware of D.C. Pools the installation company.
