In April we contacted the above business for an estimate to repair a section of our above ground pool wall which was rusted. We agreed upon a price of $300. After the owner (troy gavin) checked out our problem and assured us he had completed several such repairs. After he made the repair, we paid for a new liner and installation (cost $750). Before we even had the pool filled with water, his repaired section of wall broke away allowing the new liner to bulge out. We had to wait another 6 weeks before his next attempt to repair, and he tried to claim that the age of the pool was the problem. His second attempt (costing us another $300) lasted a total of 4 days before blowing out and tearing our new liner from top to bottom and almost washing my wife out of the pool with all the water. His next solution was to purchase a new pool for us at his cost (1200) and install it for an agreed price (200). He then ordered a new pool that is not the same size as our original pool and has been delivered and currently taking up space in our garage because he has failed to live up to his part of the contract and install. We are currently out of pocket over $2750 because of his inability to perform the jobs he contracted to do. This contractor is both INCOMPETENT AND UNRELIABLE.
