Complaint / review text:
I called this co, because my air conditioner was not turning on,
when the service man named steve came, he turned on the curcuit breaker and it urned on, which i later realized was the problem, but he opened the unit and then told me that i had blown compressor, during the time he was checking the unit, my phone rang and by the time i went back outside, he already closed up the unit, he gave me a 2600.00 price to replace it, i told him i couldn't afford that and he left.
After he left i went to turn on the breaker to see if the unit would get cold but now it didn't turn on, i checked to see if the fuse was in and it was gone.
I called and asked him if he took the fuse anf he said no, he said he put the fuse inside the unit for safty purposes. He screwed the unit shut?
I then was a little suspicious and called another service man to check it.
When the new guy opened the unit he found all the wired disconnected, he connected all the ones he saw on the outside but did not know that the other service man opened up the inside plate and disconnected the hot wire and placed it up against the unit wall.
When my service man turned on the unit, it then burnt out the compressor, which was the plan of the abc air conditioning company service man, he deliberatly sabatoged my unit.
I reported him to his boss mr kirkland, with no satisfaction. I reported him to the better business bureau and action news and still got nothing, it cost me 650.00 to repair the damage he deliberatly did. I thing the laws here suck. They do not benefit the consumer.
