Called out company because AC was not blowing hardly any air and not cold. Noticed ice on line from AC unit.
Told tech on phone this and he said he would fill it with freon. He did and within 30 minutes outside unit stopped working and tripped breaker.
2nd service call and he determines that the compressor has blown. We need new unit and new coil. $1800 for 10 seer unit.
I called 2 other companies. They said he would of had to overfill the freon for this to happen. They quoted me the same price for a 13 seer unit, which Total said would be $1000 more.
I called the company with my complaints. He said he wasn't God and didn't know what caused it to blow. I asked him if he would match the other companies bid, he said no way. I asked for my $137.00 back, he said they came out, that is it. My compressor was working before they arrived, after they left it was blown.
Very disrespectful and rude.
