Sears claims they guarantee for a lifetime - when you've issues they dismiss you!

I bought 33 replacement windows in March for my 30-year old-house. At that time my salesman Scott Doyle, guaranteed me that 'Sears stands behind their items,' which the main reason I paid $18,808 for these windows was simply because they included A - 20 year 'something' guarantee. Components, work, installment, something, along with a lifetime parts guarantee.

Because The windows have now been mounted, I've had Sears out below three times to repair apparently small issues - every time arriving through as guaranteed.

Fast-forward towards the K Mart combination. Ever since then, Sears continues to be difficult to cope with. I've 4 windows in my own home which are leaky, have rainfall arriving from all attributes, wont shut or are merely damaged.

Listed here are the reality by today.

11/4 Called and scheduled appointment.

11/28 Two 18-year old children arrived, calculated and got images. These were designed to deliver a study to Sears.

12/11 required position. Shock! Sears no further respects its guarantee. Today I'm accountable for all work costs, and that I SHOULD use their people. Rescheduled visit for 1/10.

1/10 - House all day long - no-show no-call.

1/16 required position. Got a noisy, uhhhh about the additional point.

1/17 Named and remaining concept for Francena Williams at 336-888-3387. She's said to be the supervisor of guarantee relationships for Sears.

1/18 Quit another message.

1/19 Got telephone call from Sears wondering when they arrived about the 10th, or 18th - unsure once they were said to be below. I told them no. Today they cannot return out below until early Feb.

I'm ashamed from the proven fact that my home gets ruined each time it rains, I've a whistle in my own family room each time it is windy - and that I am warming the exterior world-because all of those windows are dripping just like a siv.

I really donot believe I'll ACTUALLY by SOMETHING from Sears again. That is horrible that for that amount of cash, since K Mart purchased Sears they wont recognize any facet of this.

I've no choice. I'm likely to prosecute, inform the area lawyer and customer panel. We will discover what goes on.
