My company was hired by "Rusk Jones " of "Outdoor Conceptions Group" to provide some work on a few projects. We were unaware of Rusk Jones past history and problems.
We provided excellent work for the clients and the clients were always pleased with the quality and final product. We unfortunally did this work without a signed contract we had been working off verbal contracts to this point, and "Rusk Jones" refused to sign a contract on the last job. We dealt directly with the client because "Rusk Jones" was always absent when crucial decisions were to be made and would not answer his phone. We were left dealing with all the "illegal alien workers" that "Rusk Jones" of "Outdoor Conceptions Group" employ's and this caused a great deal of communication problems becuase they did not want to understand english when there was a problem. We completed the job that was required of us but we were not paid the entire balance that was agreed upon prior to the job when the client paid the money directly to "Rusk Jones" of "Outdoor Conceptions Group". We made the changes that the client requested and told them of the cost they said that they understood and that they would settle up with "Rusk Jones".
We later found out after "Rusk Jones" had done this to other contractors we lost a total of $2800.00 dollars off two jobs. The man will lie to you as if you were not even there and he is a professional con man. We have seen the wrecked he leaves the jobs in and then will not repair all the damage caused by his crews or faulty workmanship, we have had every customer complain to us about this but we cannot do anything about thier work, just ours. We still have a realationship with most of the clients that we wroked for so that in itself speaks volumes about our work and character.
We now use CONTRACTS FOR ALL WORK AND HAVE A PROVISION TO ADDRESS CHANGE ORDERS'S. We will not start a job until a contract has been signed and all questions answered. All I can say is BEWARE of this CON MAN "RUSK JONES".
