Lost my order, won't refund, won't respond Tacoma

I placed an on-line order 8-22-06. Product was shipped 8-23-06 via UPS. Shipment was signed for 8-24-06 by someone in another state! I live in Washington state, product went to Louisiana!

I called on-line customer service on 8-30-06, reported the problem and was told I would have a return call in 24 hours. No call! I also e-mailed on 8-31-06 which has not yet been responded to.

I called again 9-1-06, but got someone with attitude so cut that short. Placed another call 9-6-06 and was on the phone over an hour while "Allen" confirmed with UPS that my purchase had indeed been delivered to the wrong place. UPS had already picked it up and returned it to Home Depot.

At this point I was told I could not get a refund or a replacement shipment until the first shipment is located. He said he would track it down and get back to me within 72 hours.

Guess what... No call. So I call again 9-12-06 and get someone new. And all she can do is start the process all over again and she thinks I don't want to do that. Attitude again.

So, they have my money and my product is in some wharehouse and NO ONE wants to help.

No more internet orders from Home Depot for me. If the product I want is not available in the store I don't need it.
