Run around, rip off, terrible customer service

We purchased an LG washer and dryer on December 12. The washer Model # is WM2277HB and the dryer model # is DLE5977B. For the washer and dryer with the pedal stools we paid a total of no more than $2300. We're purchasing this via a Best Buy account.

After about two months the washer began to shake really bad with every load. We adjusted the feet numerous times and that didn't work. I tried putting in smaller and smaller loads and that still didn't work. I finally contacted Best Buy as we had purchased a service plan when we bought the set. They proceeded to tell me that they didn't have an LG service person near me and that I would have to contact LG myself and they would continue to look for an LG service person, but that it would take them (Best Buy) 5-7 business days to find a service person for me.

I contacted LG and I tried everything they suggested and they said that it was normal for washers to shake. I told them not as bad as this was shaking though. Best Buy never got back to me within 5-7 business days. I proceeded to contact them a couple other times via email and they kept telling me they would get back to us within 5-7 business days, but never would. We just finally let it go and figured it just was never going to get taken care of.

Then in the beginning of May, I did two loads of wash and on the second load we had water all over our floor (this is a brand new washer). My husband finally called Best Buy and told them we wanted our money back since we paid for this service plan and we're wasting our money since they can't get anyone out to fix it. Finally a manager, Philly (I believe that's correct), said she would get someone out. We had Manuel from a company in Chehalis, WA contact us and he finally set up an appointmet with us for 6/30/06 at 3pm. The Best Buy mgmt team (Amanda) also contacted us to verify our appointment with Manuel.

I took off work early 6/30/06 to be home by 3pm. At 3:30pm I called Manuel's phone and left a message saying I was waiting for him. At 4:30pm (an hour and a half after he was supposed to be there) I finally left. The repair guy (Manuel) never showed, I never got a call back from him, and I still have a brand new washer that doesn't work. Best Buy keeps telling us to give them one more chance, but we have now been without a washer for 2mo. When this thing is brand new. This was a documention from about two months ago and we still don't have a washer that works. We have been told by numerous people that we're getting the run around and that we got ripped off.
