My children came home and did they own research on the internet about this company. They found out that an absolutely identical system from Aquasana cost under $200.00 (complete). Similar reverse osmosis systems can be purchased at sears between $300 -$375.00 (also complete). Now I understood why they distribute their product only by door to door sales personal. This company brand doesnt exist anywhere.
Before they delivered the system, I contacted them to get my money back, as this was obviously a bad deal. They threw me around like a play ball from one representative to another for 5 days. The last representative I spoke with told me that they are not going to give me my $200.00 back and told me to contact his lawyer. I asked what the contact number for his lawyer is and he hung up the phone.
I am a 79 year old senior. I was hoping that with some clean water god will give me another few years to live. And you know what? Miracles do happen. Now I have a reason to live. I have new exciting things to do such complain to the Better Business Bureau in New York and Consumer Affairs. It is not about money to me anymore, it is about people who walk the earth making a living by ripping off elderly.
