To the guy in chino Baja pools cannot finish your job and you do not owe him a dime he is an unlicensed contractor at this time. How can he do work with out a license? To the best of my knowledge anyone under contract with Baja pools right now does not have to pay them a dime and Baja Pools has to perform per contract. I THINK I am no lawyer.
Baja started my pool back in July. I had it finished by another pool contractor in May. I had to pay one supplier direct as Baja Pools would not pay them. A lien was filed and I was threatened with a lawsuit forcing my family to pay 2,118.30 out of pocket a second time. Baja Pools Inc later refunded this money after a Complaint was filed on their license.
Please note it was this $2,118.30 that led to the abandonment of the job. Baja pools felt they should be paid a second time for a job that had to be redone due to improper installation and poor craftsmanship. (They had to replace 1,000 sq feet of concrete as it cracked within two days of them pouring it). I felt they did not need to be repaid a second time. They said they would not step foot on my project again until I paid them for concrete. I said O-Kay if you do not come back to the site I will get someone else to finish. They said go ahead and try you are in breach of contract. Fact is they breached their own contract a 90-day completion with NO RAIN delays at all. And here we are over 180 into it.
Fact 1. Baja Pool has ten complaints on their license # 844719
Fact. 2 Baja Pools has a suspended license as of 8-7 due to lack of qualifier.
Fact 3. CURTIS BARRY LIGHTNER and ADDISON BRADLEY BACHMAN do not even hold a C53 swimming pool license. How does a swimming pool building company owner not hold a swimming pool building license?
Fact 4. Baja Pools currently has an F rating with the BBB (ROR redacted link)
Fact 5. Baja Pools cannot conduct finish Dan from Chino's pool as they have a suspended license.
Fact 6. It is hard to argue with facts.
