We ordered hurricane shutters and windows on January 11th. We signed the contract and the delivery was supposed to be between 12 and 16 weeks from that date, i.E. Beginning of April or beginning of May.
The Co's engineer measured everything. On June 12th approx, they brought shutters and windows. The windows were not the COLONIAL windows as specified on the contract, so we returned them with their promise that they would bring the windows in two or three days. Regarding the shutters, they installed some of them: the installator was continously complaining about his salary and his wasting time. He even broke our big fountain in the backyard. He came with an assistant who did NOT speak any English at all.
WHen it was time to install the shutters for main patio doors, he said that there was an error in the calculation-that the company had made - so he did not install them.
Mr. Olguin, who dealt with us all the time making promises, and who is the Retails Sales Manager said that everything would be solved in a week or two. Again, we believed in his word. This was June 19th. He had promised in writing before that both windows and shutters would be installed on June 19th.
Now, on July 29th, he said that the installators for the windows could call us on Tuesday, August 1st to install ONLY the windows since he needs to talk with the salesman, Mr. Moretti, who is on vacation, about our shutters and the right measurement. (?)
THis company has given excuse after excuse. The latest is that we have received a bill from the company saying PAST DUE for an amount of 2092.50. The material has NOT been delivered and installed and they are saying this is PAST DUE.
This company is a scam and the manager is not serious either.
