Ripoff, deceived, ignored, lied to, no customer service, custom furniture not delivered as promised

My murphy bed and custom cabinet order was placed for a total of $9,944 and was told it would take 8-10 weeks. I paid $175 additional to have the company measure the space for the cabinetry. Weeks 10-15 I was lied each week by the salesperson that the shipment was on the next truck. Week 15, the merchandise was delivered. Pieces were missing that were paid for and pieces didn't fit.

My job was not manufactured or measured correctly to the spec I received and signed off on. I never received a top-down view as shown on their website with measurements.

Murphy Bed Center gave me a $600.00 credit for my problems. This did not even cover the $630.00 for the piece that doesn't fit, the $100.00 that I paid for a back panel which wasn't received, or the cost of buying a new desk chair, because Murphy Bed Center's measurements were so off that the desk opening didn't allow for the executive chair that I currently had. Pieces were rearranged on different walls due to improper measurements, which I should have been reimbursed $175.00 for.

Four and a half months later, the retailer made a second installation to deliver missing shelves, crown moulding, and a re-built cabinet. They neglected to tell me that the new cabinet gives me 12 inches less file space. I have to keep the original extra cabinet in my garage since it doesn't fit in the room. There are two inch gaps in between furniture pieces that cannot be fixed to to mismeasurements. The murphy bed that was installed was used once and collapsed under my guest. The installer told me that it shouldn't have been used on a hardwood floor due to slippage (after seeing the damage on his second visit). He said the owner lies about every due date to customers.

The owner, Susanne, does not return phone calls, or emails to discuss problems, nor does she apologize. The installer said I could have gotten the job done correctly for half the price elsewhere. Today I am left with a room of furniture that is in the incorrect position that I paid for, a broken murphy bed (aesthetically), less storage space than promised, and dealing with a business owner who has ZERO customer service skills who lacks sense to keep a customer happy.
