This is an independent home based window treatments business run by a woman who was referred to me by another vendor I used when I moved into the area a year ago. To quote the other person who referred Deborah Delcoure to me, "She is weird, has an attitude and a difficult personality, but she's been in business a long time and I heard she carries good products." So, the first appointment I made with her should have been the last but I was new in town and I had recently heard about the potential for these franchise window treatment businesses run out of people's homes being unreliable. So, after 20 minutes past the time of our appointment I called her on her cell and she didn't even apologize for the fact that she wasn't at my house.in fact, she acted surprised that I called. She then asked if I wanted her to still come and she could be there within an hour. Of course, I had blocked off this time for her, so I told her to come and I would wait. That was my first mistake.
A year and several thousands of dollars later my husband and I have experienced late service, a bad attitude, waiting for 9 months before she could get someone to hang wood valances which I ordered and were left sitting at my house (to which she replied when I asked her if she was finally going to get someone to hang these..."Don't you have a carpenter that can do that?" Well, no not only don't I have a carpenter, but included in her prices are installation. I could have gotten these for half the price on the Internet (which I should have) if I wanted to hire my own installer. That was the last straw for me. I then referred her to my husband for payment of our balance. She called my home asking if I got her bill and was again rude, nasty and making sure she put me down in any way possible. Strange way to try to get money from someone, don't you think? Do not use this woman's service under any conditions unless you like being treated like you are a big pain in the neck for giving her your money.
