I booked an appointment with Mrs Dean a week in advance to have a nude and clothed modeling portfolio done. She called me on a Friday and asked me if I'd like to do the shoot on Sunday instead. I said that's fine. She said the reason is ebcause there would be a parade going on Saturday the day we originally schelduled, and she didn't want me to have to worry about a parking spot. I told thanks for your consideration, and if she wanted to reschedule for Sunday, that's fine with me. She told me we'd go ahead and chance it and see how it goes. She said that we would go ahead and do the shoot at 2:00 p. M on SATURDAY December 10th. I informed her that I would probably come in early just so I could get a parking spot. She told me she would be in the middle of a session from 12:00 to 2:00. I told her that's fine I'll just come in and sit down and wait. She told me that's fine.
Friday, I went and tanned and worked out to look my best during the photo shoot. I even purchased some props and some other supplies to use during the session. I spent a lot of time and money looking for these items and outfits. On Saturday I drove to Duncan ready for my photo shoot and got a good parking spot. I walked into a place called "The Well" on Main Street in Duncan. Which is the address she gave me. It happened to be a church! That should've tipped me off right there that something wasn't right. But I kept my cool and stayed positive that she would be there. There was a bar and some couches and chairs when you walk in. The people there were popping popcorn and making hot chocolate. They were kind at first and asked if I would like some hot chocolate. I thanked them and said nah, I'm here for a photo shoot. They looked at me with a strange look and said okay, then you want Jacqueline Dean. Oh and she's not here right now. She just left. I replied "left?" I made an appointment with her a week in advance to have a modeling portfolio done. The woman said Oh okay let me call her. She called and there was no answer. She said hmm that's strange. I asked what the problem was and she informed that this wasn't like Jacqueline. She then told me that I should just wait and that she would probably be back. I said okay and sat down on one of the couches and waited and waited and waited and watched as the people walked by outside on the sidewalk.
Finally there were a couple of young women who came in from the back of the church and began setting up something by the window. I got up and asked if one of them was Jacqueline and one of them replied uh no, Jacqueline has blonde hair. I told them that I made an appointment a week in advance and was waiting for her to show up. One of them said that she would try calling her. She dialed the phone number and she said hmm that's strange she's not answering. I looked over to the bar area where there was a couple of guys and a young adult female making popped corn and they were laughing about something and said "that's him right there, he's waiting for Jacqueline. Maybe someone should tell him that she cancelled the session with him, and laughed again. I thought to myself "you've known about this and you didn't tell me?" Another woman walked in and she asked me if I was waiting for Jacqueline. I told her yes I am. She said Oh she told me to tell you that she cancelled the appointment. I said okay thanks. I turned to walk out and the people behind the bar began laughing like it was all a joke. One of them said "bye you pervert!" Yeah I'm a pervert because I asked for nude modeling pics! Some people in Duncan are so closed minded and backwards!
I got into my car and started it up and left. I think I took some back roads and I think I was driving about 80mph not caring if I was about to have a wreck or about to run off into a ditch! I got home and called her and of course she didn't answer but I wanted to give her one more chance before I made a report about her business, but she didn't answer, and didn't respond to my text messages. If you're looking for a professional photographer look elsewhere. This person is very unprofessional and totally unreliable! I wasted two days thinking this portfolio would turn out great only to wait for one hour and about 10 minutes past the scheduled time of our appointment before I was told by a bunch of immature young women that my photo shoot had been cancelled!
