Well, I'd like to start with saying that usually I don't do public compaints but what happened on my 25th birthday deserves to be public and I only hope it will prevent someone from going there.
I made an arrangement to get my hair done and professional make up about 5 days before. First of all, receptionist couldn't tell me the cost of what I was gonna get. She told me it will take hour and a half for everything. The day before she called me to confirm that appointment was at 3 30 pm. I came there about 3 15pm, the woman who was supposed to do my hair sat me in a chair and started rubbing my hair for nothing and making faces like she had no idea what to do and actually she didn't know what to do, didn't have any suggestions, was rude, old fashioned and uprofessional.in about 20 minutes a guy walked in and she told me that he needs a hair cut. It was 3 40pm. After I told her that I had an appointment at 3 30pm I saw her schedule right at my nose along with attitude. I was scheduled for 4pm!
3 50pm make up specialist came in and started putting my make up on. She was pretty good, but I thought she would have all professional make up on her so it would guarantee long wear and all... She didn't! She didn't even have q-tips... While she was doing my make up, the hairdresser was walking around with the same face with attitude and kept asking me if I still wanted to get my hair done and that when she was free I was not and that she was sitting there for nothing.
Make up stylist said it would take 25 minutes to get done, it took 50! By that time the only time I had left for hair is to get them straightened up. It was pretty horrible, considering that I paid $40 for it. No styling, no volume, the only thing that was used is a hair spray on top and a little bit of bed hair creme-after I asked her to.
So I spent over 2 hours of being stressed out and $120, was late for getting my nails done and was late for my guests. Obviously, I could do everything in the morning, but I was told that it wouldn't take long and I didnt want to wear heavy make up all day long also.
Anyway my party was good at the end! Thanx to my friends.
