I contacted Ventura Builders in July to do remodeling work on my home. They were to put on a new roof, replace my back patio door, replace a kitchen window, replace the frame work around my garage, replace my front door and build a patio on the front of my home. The sales person (no one has ever given me their business card of last name) never provided me with a inventory or expense breakdown although I have requested it 12 times. I took out a loan through a bank and a check was cut and made payable to myself and ventura builders. Ventura Builders took the check and cashed it. I have been lied to and told several times the work would be done and it has not. The company is trying to replace original windows and doors with cheap windows and doors even though I have requested the same quality and in case of the front door better quality. They will not do the work, they have given me unreasonable excuses. I no longer wish to deal with this company and have asked for a breakdown of the parts they have replaced and money spent to date and they will not provide me with it. The owner had been informed I have been told and will do nothing to rectify this situation.
The company makes excuses for their poor service and treat the customer like garbage. Customer beware! Never use this company!!!
