Marlo Furniture still has not resolved our situation since July 5th when we purchased all our funiture CASH.
Getting through to those people on our own has not only been a horrific and traumatic ordeal but the worst customer service both my husband and I have ever encountered our entire lives. And you can forget about calling their customer service line (301) 735-2087 you will be placed on hold for a lifetime, or e-mailing them your mail would be bounced back.
And if that is not enough punishment try physically going into the store to resolve an issue, you will be greeted by the rudest front desk personnel in a company. (All of the women that sits up front) and when you realize that they are useless except for a buffet, and not helping you, try asking for a manager (Doug) who will pretend he is trying to help you, then he disappears magically for hour to an hour forgetting that he was attending to you, the reason I state this is because both my husband and I experience this with him personally.
We received a check in the amount of $2,664.86. Altogether we paid the store a sum of $4820.65. All of the furniture was returned to the store EXCEPT for two couches that cost $499.99 each, it's a simple math problem my eight year old can do.
Can you contact this store and ask them when shall we receive the rest of our money. Lord knows both my husband and I tried. I went into the store on Rockville Pike yesterday, they admitted that yes they still owe us money that we need to contact customer service. I then called customer service spoke with Lauren; she said that the store needs to break it down to them on why money is still owed to us.
It's nothing but a joke to these people.
DOES anyone know where I can get DO NOT SHOP @ MARLO furniture store bumper stickers or T-Shirts...
