I purchased a 5 year extended warranty on my furniture. When I made a claim they needed all of my information again. Not knowing that I needed to fax over all of the information. I recieved a notice in the mail stating that my claim had been closed and that I need to fax over my information in an appropriate time frame. It had said nothing about me not being able to make a new claim.
I called them back after faxing them my information that they needed and requested for a call back to make a new appointment for them to come and clean my furniture. Bear in mind that I did Pay for the Warranty. But they are telling me that I have to have the stains that I had previously removed professionally before I can make a new claim on my furniture. No where in the Warranty paper work or on the notice that I had recieved in the mail says that there is a time frame or that because I have made a claim before that I have to have it professionally removed before making a new claim.
I did pay for the warranty so why do I have to find an outside source to clean my furniture if this is why I purchased the warranty for. I requested for a call back but there was no effert made in their part. I was told that i could make a new claim on new stains when I tried to they denied me and then they told me I was allowed to make a new claim just not on the couch cushions. What? I was told one thing now another. If you can't apply with your warranty then please give me my money back so that I can pay for some one to professionally clean my furniture. (I did purchase a stain safe warranty) just in case there were stains that needed to be cleaned.
