On 1/23/05 I purchased & paid for dinging room furniture to be delivered 1/26/05 between 1:00 & 2:00 pm. Wrong merchandise was delivered @ 4:45 pm with no explanation for delay. My wife lost 4 hours of work waiting.
Rescheduled delivery was for 1/27/05 around "noonish". My wife lost 5 hours of work waiting this time with no call at all for delay.
On 1/28/05 I called Furniture Brokers a few minutes after opening & asked if there was a problem but the female answering the call didn't know and I asked to speak with the manager whom was not "in" but whom she would have call me back around 11:00 when he came in.
At 6:00 pm when we getting ready to go out to dinner with friends a female called to say merchandise was loaded and ready for delivery, I said it was not possible at that time of evening and the phone was given to manager and I told him the same and he asked if I wanted delivery at that time or my money refunded and it didn't matter to him one way or the other, I told him with the service and his attitude I preferred a refund, and at that point he hung up on me.
I have called many times since and have spoken with owner and others with all saying they were unaware, would check and call back... No one ever has. Latest call was 7/2/05.
